We are looking for a data driven stats oriented marketer. This job is part data mining and part marketing. Strong statistical skills are required. As long as passion for statistical marketing analysis is there, guidance and tools will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer data and develop customer intelligence to support enhanced acquisition, cross-selling, segmentation, retention and other marketing initiatives. 
  • Analyze account level data, research purchasing patterns and buying preferences, develop pricing of products based on competitive data, and produce daily, weekly and monthly audience reports. 
  • The job entails assisting in creation of effective sales positioning materials, developing graphs, reports, presentations and recommendations from large data sets.
  • Management of other on-going and ad-hoc projects (e.g. product category focus groups
  • Additional Strategic Research Projects ,
  • Work with different departments to investigate specific issues or strategic initiatives (e.g. how do we increase efficiency of buying process etc.).
  • Conduct analysis for cross-functional programs (e.g. evaluate/create for new business opportunities).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Finance or Economics highly preferred.
  • Experience in any SPSS modeler, R, SAS, Matlab, Statistica, Rapid miner.
  • Knowledge of databases and ability to use query languages to collect data.
  • Strong analytic skills, with understanding of how to interpret data/analysis. Ability to develop presentation charts with innovative and actionable insights to help internal partners with business strategies 
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent communications skills - written and verbal. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office apps (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is essential. 
  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and succinct manner

Preferences:

Experience in SPSS Modeler at work or in educational setting.
Knowledge of Online Marketing metrics and tools
